For anyone who’s worried about the health implications of consuming too much fat in their diet, the benefits of the AirFryer should be immediately apparent. There will always be new and interesting things to try when cooking. You should be creative regardless of what or when you are cooking. If you know the right methods, you can turn your meals into masterpieces. The following tips will aid you in your quest to get some unique, mouth-watering flavors brewing in the kitchen.
Before you cook ground meats, be sure to blot away excess moisture with paper towels. It is a good idea to always blot away moisture before cooking ground meat. When ground meats are cooked, excess moisture can be released. This will then sizzle away. This means you meat is being steamed and not seared.
Every cook knows how important it is to organize their cooking supplies. If you don’t organize your supplies, you’ll constantly be wasting time looking for what you need. Store items of a similar nature together. For example, since basil and parsley are both spices, put them in the same cabinet. When you truss your bird, you tie its legs and wings together. Doing so helps the bird to cook more evenly. If you don’t truss your bird, the smaller pieces could dry out and burn. By using beef or chicken broth or stock in the place of water, you can really boost the flavor of many foods. Alternatively, you can drop bouillon cubes directly into the cooking water. In this way, you can be sure your food has enough moisture and extra flavor!
A meat thermometer is a great way to show you are cooking meats properly. Each type of meat has a minimum recommended internal temperature to be considered safe for consumption. Bacteria loves meat and you could ingest it if you do not cook it properly, it could cause you to become sick. You can even cook delicious steaks in the Airfyer – this video shows how to get them just right…
Make sure to implement the given tips if you would like to see improvement in your cooking. With improved culinary skills, not only will you eat better, the people around you will eat better as well. There are also loads of benefits of using the Philips AirFryer, so you should consider buying one of these when kitting out your kitchen.
Ok, so I’ve been using my Airfryer for a couple of months now, and I though it’d be a good idea to update this post with some more information…
The first thing that I’ll say, is that the Airfyer is so easy to use it’s stupid… seriously, you’d have to be dumb not to be able to get tasty food out of this thing. All you need to do is bung your food into the drawer, set the temp (mostly to max), then set the timer. Halfway through cooking, pull out the draw and give the food a shake to stop things sticking together, and pop it back in to finish cooking.
These are some chips that I was cooking the other day – as you can see they’re golden brown just like they came out of a fryer, and they taste far better in my opinion. You’re actually getting the taste of the potato, rather than soggy oil soaked chips. (I would put a little oil on them before cooking though; just a small spoonful for a whole basket of chips is more than enough).
So, am I pleased that I bought this thing? Yep, deffo. I’ve used it nearly every day… If only it could cook toast I’d be in heaven!!
